CHRISTMAS 2011 RAFFLE
 We are delighted that our second Christmas raffle has been an even bigger success than last year. The Friends raised a massive £530!!
Many thanks to all of you who purchased tickets and made the event such a big success.
 Our thanks also go to those patients who very kindly donated a prize for the raffle. Once again this year we were fortunate enough to have another wonderful picture donated by local artist, Mr. Derek Huntley. I am sure the lucky winner will have many years of enjoyment from the painting.
Monies raised will be credited to The Friends account and used towards purchasing more equipment in the New Year.
ART COMPETITION
We recently invited several local infant schools to participate in an
art competition. The children from each school will be given a topic to
illustrate and the paintings put on display in our waiting area, for two
weeks per school.
Patients are invited to vote for their favourite painting (voting slips
are available). The winner from each school will go into a final
contest.
These winners will receive a certificate, and the overall winner will
take home a prize, which will be announced sometime in June.
